Weber 32/34

Hi,i am looking at a weber 32/34 for my golf cabby 1.6 mk1,the carb i have seen for sale has twin choke,is this correct? are all the 32/34 twin choke? if so is this better than a single choke? my pierburg 2e2 carb is faulty and drinks a lot of fuel,would the weber even if twin choke drink more fuel or would it be better?any help appreciated.
