water outlet fouls dells, mk2 golf 16v engine in mk1 Golf

outlet fouls the carbs, see pic below,

anyone know how to get round this? is there an alternative straight (not angled) outlet to get?

any advice welcomed



the outlet comes out at a slight angle and as such catches on the carb, see pic below. does anyone know of any alternative part?
