Uprated Injectors

Bit of help if anybody's out there.

Running a MK1 1800 GTi (1982 Y) - just had two injectors fail so decided to swap all four and get a proper tune up on the rolling road BUT before I do…..

Anybody know if I can fit any larger injectors (and if so what from?) Car has subtle modifications at the moment (full exhaust system, uprated filter and housing, Audi throttle body). Used mainly for play so fuel economy isn't an issue!!!

Some debate about whether any power increase is due to just having "new" injectors, as opposed to a superior spray pattern or anything.
They're brass though, so they won't rust like the VW ones do.

Ordered some 190e injectors today from GSF, will let you know how I get on after the weekend.
