Throttle body again - Intake rubber

Righto,

Used to have a MK1 GTI, and just got another, its got the K-Star system on it (fuel and ignition), I used to run 16V throttle body on my old GTI, and want to carry out the same mod again with this one. But someone else did the mod and i dont know whats involved.

From searching the forum i have found some bits.

I understand there are various throttle bodies to use,
MK2 and Audi 5 cyl 2.2 (by the way what cars were these on??? Audi that is)
Also is it right that the Audi one will go straight on?
I have a spare standard body to canabalise if needed.

Also i seem to remember that the intake rubber thats goes onto the throttle body needs some modification to fit?

Any ideas people, and if anyone has a spare throttle body MK2 or Audi give me a shout

Cheers

intake rubber should squeeze on. i have an audi 5pot one in the garage and that is a straight swap. the 16v fits but the accelerater cable is a different fitment. some one posted on here showing how to swap linkages over from mk1 to mk2 throttle. do a search and that should be all aparent.
