What system would be quieter for the mk1 gti 8v, this is so loud its embarrising.

my twin jetex wasnt too bad... it was too quiet for me, so i had the middle box removed... :lol:

Daily - 05 plate B6 A4 Avant S Line, with 19s for the summer.. wifes car - Rare Seat Exeo ST Sport 170 Tech
Weekend - MK2 20vt monster - Plus a mk1 caddy I am fixing for my bro

I changed to stock back box and middle box a few months ago and the car is a lot quieter (problem is now I can hear the tappets!!!!)

I've got a twin exit Savage backbox on mine, loud isn't the word…
1985 GTi Cabrio in red, Savage twin exit exhaust, rubbish alloys with nice tyres.

i've got a full supersprint system with a straight through centre (no silencer in the middle pipe) so its just the back box… and you can hear a mouse jackin off in the boot! proper quiet  :dontknow:

did you go for the 4" tail pipe?
