starting problems (fuel issue)

i still working on my starting issues with my mk1 golf gti. i spoke to few people over months giving me different things to try, just working on it now and finding that when i turn the ignition on and have a injector out, turn it over, nothing happens. i then took the injector off and still nothing coming out, blown the pipe and no blockage. took the pipe off completely and turned it over to see if there is anything coming through th efuel distributor. nothing. i know its reaching it as tested it as far as the filter, that brand new and free flowing, as it goes in to the distributor, no further. if i then run the pump through a by pass so as i don't have to turn it over and lift the flap fuel starts to come out, but not under any sort of pressure. i thought that it should be spraying out. i been told that the fuel distributors little filters in each chamber might be block and stopping any pressure. there just dosent seem to be any pressure.

also does any one know if the pump is supose to run for a few seconds after the igntion is switch off. i thought it was supose to prime when u turn the key once, ut i get nothing. i can here it going when fully turned then runs for that few seconds after.

i have tryed to give as much detail as i can. any help please. cheers
