Squeaky exhaust on GTI cabby
My Golf is an F plate GTI cab.
My exhaust is squeaking at the front of the car, around the manifold area. It's not blowing at all, just squeaking when I change gear (so the engine and exhaust move and create a squeak), and when idling. It is idling a little low so this won't be so bad when adjusted…
Anyone know what part of the system might be causing this? I have a sneaky feeling it's the c-clamps but without having any spare time or means to get underneath and have a look I can't be sure.
Cheers,
Nick

It's not been so bad since I took my cabby to the Nurburgring earlier this month, I think the 1200 mile round trip helped somehow lol. Maybe the driving for 5 hours at a time with no break welded it all together!
However, I'll certainly look to change the parts asap, and a stainless manni sounds like a nice fix Guado! Good suggestion on the mounts to Novocaine and Bez, cheers guys, I'll defo do this.
