Solid fuel line fitting
Hi, just wondered If any of you lot knows the easiest way to fit the solid fuel lines? Its driving me mad! I got the line with the car so dont want to go buying the braided lines if I dont have to really as the money would be better of spent elsewhere on the car.

You need a 4 post ramp . We carried out this replacement years ago and found the only way to feed the new fuel pipes in to the engine bay was to have plenty of room on a ramp, working at head height . Garage floor :naughty: You will struggle .
Sorry no easy answer . That's why flexy pipes are so good

Did this some years ago, from memory i think i jacked one side of the car up as high as possible and loosened/ moved the s/rack.

Cheers guys. not much chance of using a 4post but might try jacking it as high as I can to get the clearance underneath.
