petrol smell

i know this is a long shot but i have a strong smell of petrol,but i will buggered if i can find a leak,help  

What engine are you running? where is the smell strongest? Is your car using excessive fuel? Have you had any work done on the car lately?

found it ,little pin hole,losing enough to be concerned though 250 miles to a full tank!!
