Oops petrol in diesel

After being absent minded and putting a bit of petrol in my diesel (only 5ers worth) I filled it to the brim. I did run the car on mixed petrol and diesel for 20ish miles..

Now the car runs but very rough/lumpy, lots of smoke..

I got bubbles coming out of the fuel filter which i guess is the reason for it being so smokey?

Is it just a case of replacing a rubber washer somewhere?
Has the petrol washed the system out causing somthing to block???
