Bought a 1990 cabby, read info about rusty filler neck saying don't buy walk away!?!

…..But did anyway - got new pipe and seen link on how to fit, looks quite easy but want to know whjat I can do when it is all stripped to help out in the long run i.e do i take the tank off and wash or dlush out injectores with additive after finnishing?

Please help as sun is coming out!

i would change the filler neck, drain the tank and clean out as best you can

then when it's all back together with some fresh juice in, i'd put a redex injector cleaning solution in or something like that. it wont do any harm
