New exhaust advise needed

So, on my golf i've got a supersprint system, not sure whether is has a silencer, because it is so earth shatteringly loud! It give a nice tone between the 2500 and 3500 range, but then it become a mass of noise. As I live in a small village, people dont really take kindly to it and the sort of attention I get in town isn't the kind I want. Luckily not been pulled over, as I think it may be illegal, its that loud. It's kind of a bummer as I can't really drive it in the evening.

Im wondering if there are any other systems I can fit, that aren't stupidly loud, but give a nice tone to the engine, without losing the power the supersprint gives (a small drop is acceptable). Has anyone got any ideas of what kind of systems I could fit? The engine is a 2ltr 9a, so im not sure about fitment. I did do a search, but couldnt find anything useful.

I have a Hot Tuning manifold on my 16v KR, got these guys to make an exhaust to marry up to it, asked for quiet, but with a little noise when using power……got it spot on, it's quiet for running down the motorway and has a lovely note under acceleration.

i have a power flow to maybe they can just add a silencer or 2 to quieten it down i found mine very good

My old 3 box supersprint system was pretty quiet, still a straight through absorption system for performance though, no idea if its still available.

I think this is the 3" race exhaust. It is rather loud, like, I can hear you 1/2 a mile down the road loud!
