modifying a tintop filler neck to fit a cab

could i get some advise on what needs to be done, the tintop one is too long so obviously needs to be cut down but what else do i need to do

i read somewhere that the fuel cap ends up at a different angle, which is what i dont want ,

any ideas chaps and chapesses!

I dont know what needs to be done but I saw a cab at my local scrappy that had a tintop filler neck fitted. (I found a receipt in the car for it!)
The cap wasnt fitting flush as it should, the side towards the front of the car stuck out more than it should but it wasn't too bad (maybe about 0.5 to 1cm).

With no changes the tintop neck makes the cap sit at an angle.  To overcome this cut the neck about 50mm above the bracket in the inner arch and rejoin with a fuel tank hose and two jubilees.  This allows the cap end to be aligned correctly with the body.
