metering unit ??

Hi to all, i'm a new member.

Just not long ago bought a karmen gti cabriolet which was sitting about for a while. I am having fuel probs at low revs only, cleaned out the injectors and changed the fuel filter so i think its the metering unit, i also think water has been through it a some point as its had a new fuel filler neck.

Does anyone have a metering unit for my type of golf for sale or can you advise if they can be refurbished.

hi get the vw part no. off of it , a little plate with three sets of three numbers on it on the side, and give crazy quiff a call, they sorted me out out with a tested used item, a new one from tsr is available but 300 quid
