MANIFOLD PROBLEMS ????????

GOT A SECOND HAND 4 INTO 1 A WHILE AGO AND JUST GOT ROUND TO FITTING IT BUT APPEARS TO BE A LOT SHORTER THAN ORIGINAL CAST ONE COMES TO JUST UNDER CAR BEFORE ANTI ROLL BAR , ITS GOT MK1 STAMPED ON IT BUT SEEMS TO BE ABOUT TWO FOOT SHORT IS THERE A SECTION TO FIT THAT BENDS OVER THE ANTI ROLL BAR OR IS THIS WRONG MANIFOLD . ITS A ANSA IF THAT HELPS ????????????????

Sounds like the previous owner has cut the down pipe short for some reason.

It shouldn't be a major problem just have a look round your local scrap yard for a decent bit of pipe or go and ask an exhaust fitter (qwick fit or someone) if they have any pipe spare that you could have and adapt to fit.
