Manifold method of fittage?

Alright all , just need a bit or guidance here… doing the old 2ltr conversion and just bolting on all the bits now

come across an issue with the stainless steel manfold i have..

i don't have any inlet manifold bolted on so the rear is quite free from obstructions..

have the car on the 3rd pin on axel stands , but no matter what direction i try to make it fit .. it won't..!

defenately not from the top , but looks like it might from the bottom, but car does not seem high enough … how have other people on here got theres in place?  and does the anti roll bar need removing too?

Thanks peeps  :D

I slid mine in place at the same time as fitting the engine.

You could try jacking the car up high on one side.

Also, the anti-roll bar often gets in the way, and is worth removing to give a bit more access (if you haven't already)
