Hi gemmaguy,

yes you can buy them - if your dealer stocks them AND knows what he's looking for!! (I went in and was told they were obsolete. Jellybelly did me a favour and got me a set and posted them to me.)

The '50p' shape is a 12mm hex fitting - available from halfords and other motor factors.

The material in mine was like bakealite and it cracked off when I changed the injectors. The only problem I've got is that I've tried to do the 12mm hex removal but its spinning in the hole so I've left it, sealed with some silicone!!

If you've got the head off you're lucky cause any debris won't drop into the cylinders!! Change them while its off. Only about £5.00 or so for a set of 4!

Yes they are round and with a bit of grease should slide on easily into the recess that they sit in.

Mine were a right b*^$&"(d to get out, even with all of A5OPY's (considerable   ) weight behind a screw driver! Thats probably why the seats theyselves broke off. That and age.
