injector seats gti

the seat for the 2nd injector is damaged.
the plastic seat in inlet manifold that the O ring for the injector seals against is damaged.
how does that come out??

I think you mean the plastic insert in the head that the injector sits in. They unscrew with a large allen key, I think it's a 12mm. The problem is after being in the head for about 25yrs it won't want to come out, may be worth giving it a squirt with WD40 a few times before you try removing it. Be careful not to put too much weight on it, they can crack and splinter and you could end up having to take the head off.

i price them up last week at deallers vw have loads of stock was going to
work out aout ?20 for full set o ring seals for injectors and plastic inserts so wood advise go to deallers not worth looking else were for price
