injector seals

i have just reconditioned cylinder head, in the gasket set there were 8 Rubber seals half the size of original , on the injectors i removed (Hat type) there was 1 rubber seal held on  by circlip on the injector.
I fitted 2 rubbers to each injector and they seemed to be a good fit with the circlip and a good fit into head.
car does not run to great though and i am wondering if the rubbers are the problem, everything else in gasket kit was fine.

Double check that you have seated the injectors all the way in.

They do take quite a bit of pressure to pop in.

Check the appearance/projection of the injectors against pictures in the manuals.
