help needed random tube.

hi i need help with my mk1 project i have just put the engine back in (1.8 8v) and have everything connected back up apart from one thing. i have a tube coming from inside the car not sure what it connects to inside. its a very small tube that comes through the bulk head just behind where the injectors are. any help most appreciated.

Is it the vacuum pipe to go on the back of instrument cluster for the MPG guage?

also i have a question about the same thing, how do you replace this pipe, mine isnt working and i dont know if its broken/blocked or what.
Can you buy something similar and make it work?
