GTi cabby fuel tank.

Just noticed a slight leak from the tank when I say leak it doesn't drip or anything just must be a tiny perforation. You can smell it and see a slight wetness but no hole as such.

Anyway how easy is it to drop the tank????

Checked this earlier in the year, but suppose no harm in having another look.

I cleaned up all the area in question but can't now see where its coming from :dontknow:  Will be attacking it again later on. Although drove round the block and could still smell it.

Would it still leak from the seal if the tank is never full I only ever put ?10 in then use it until it hits the red mark.???????
