fuel type??????

hi all,
what fuel type do i use for a mk1 golf driver 1272cc 1983

Does it have a flux capacitor? If so banana skins and beer!  
It would depend how it has been set up! On my cab is a sticker over the fuel filler cap saying use 98 ron, but over time how would you know if it had ever been adjusted? Are you having problems with 95?

You cou can use either 95 or 98 RON unleaded with no timing adjustment.

How does it all affect your emissions? If you had a tank full of 98 when you went for your mot would you have any higher or lower emission reading? Cheers Dubboy, I knew you would know!
