FUEL TANK????????

ve been told there is a diffence in the floor pan on cabriolets????

if so will a 83 gti fuel tank fit on a 88 clipper(gonna put the gti engine in it)

also what about pipes??????

Cabriolet tanks are bigger than tin top tanks, and are bolted under the car, tin top tanks are held on with straps. They are NOT interchangeable.

An early GTI Cabriolet tank should fit a later Clipper, but someone may prove me wrong……

….later GTI Cabby tanks also have a lift pump fitted with the sender unit………..

ETKA shows same part number for 1990 GTi Cab as 1983 Tin top.  Not sure if this is correct tho'
