Fuel Pump

Hi i have found out that my fuel pump on my 1983 GTi was jammed up, i have found a similar one from a porsche 924 but i am worried it might push to much pressure would anyone know if it might do that? and if so would that cause a big problem sorry if i sound a bit stupid but always worry about things like fuel.

dont worry about the pressure, the meteirng head/fpr will sort it all out for you. just make sure its a k-jet spec pump and you'll be reet
