Fuel pump to mk1 cabriolet

Hi,

I changed 1.8 8v engine to my cabriolet.
What is the best solution for fuel pump?

To change mk1 cabriolet injektion fuel tank+ original pumps.
Lift pump unit in tank and a main fuel pump next to the fuel tank.

Or some other?  :dontknow:

my 1.8gti 87 cab has a lifter pump  in the tank and fuel pump next to the tank, probably worth matching fuel supply to the engine.
