fuel pump etc for mk1 abf.

ok in my old mk1 i was running a mk3 16v abf engine on mk3 management etc. i used the mk1 gti fuel pump and Accumulator which worked fine.

now im putting the same engine into my caddy running mk3 management again. Both lines from accumulator to pump and supply line are dead, and i really aint got ?70 for new ones.

Does anyone know what other setups i can use?

does digifant even need the accumulator?

thanks

courtesty of rubjonny.

dont need the accumulator on an ABF, even if you use the k-jet pumps. Accumulator is only required to hold system pressure on a k-jet due to all the fuel lines stretching across a hot engine, stops the fuel evapourating in the metal lines

when i did my conversion i used a pump from a vauxall cavalier it has push on fitting so you only need to use normal rubber hose and jubilee clips so you can make your own fuel pipes
