Automec do pipes and fittings etc. All you need to know is the size of the pipe and fittings.

I think the previous owner changed them already as they are rubber and quite large mate.I don't mean to sound like a total idiot but I wudnt even know how to measure the pipe, like do I measure the outside of the tube or do I take the full existing off to measure the inside diameter??the car is mint other than this problem, once this is done atleast I can try to get the car motd n that.appreciate the help

Theres 2 pipe sizes: one for carb and one for fuel injection. Obviously, if your car has been bodged in the past and you want to return it to original, measuring your current ones isn't going to work, so hopefully someone will see this thread and can tell you what the required pipe sizes are. You'd also need to know the size of the fittings at the end. Automec might even already know - worth a try.

If you just wanted to replace the rubber pipes then its the inner diameter which is important, as it will be fitting over a pipe or connection one end or the other.

I'll take a guess if you like but I wouldn't want to guess wrong and muddle you up, and I can't remember the sizes off the top of my head etc etc

I think you have attached the wrong pipe with your car's engine.
