H ('91) 1781cc Carb Black Clipper Owner:

I need whatever is included in the three way fuelines joined by the white plastic Y/T piece that prevents the fuel going the wrong way !!! ….. or something like that ?  :dontknow:

….. yes I know ! ….

Had to get fuel lines replaced and whatever it was is now lost and garage can't get one and its now removed from dealers engine part charts. Can't remember what its called, what it looks like, etc.

This is a photo of the way it was and the three-way fuel line connection is shown (red arrow) but nothing else is visible. The return line disappears under the air intake and is assumed where a valve or similar would be to prevent the fuel being drawn back up before going thru' the pump ?

Anyone know what should be there ?

The Y piece is a bodge, there should be a vapour separater there. Try a search on "fuel vapour separator" to see if you can find a thread with a pic of one. I believe they're NLA from volkswagen parts now.
