fuel filler neck

does anybody know if its hard to modify a tin top fuel filler neck to fit a cabby. what does it involve?

The usual solution is to cut the section of the filler neck that rises up to the filler aperture and rejoin the two pieces with a fuel hose (buy another filler neck to fuel tank hose for this) and jubilee clips. You should then be able to adjust it exactly as you need.
