Fuel (and Brake) Lines

Hi
Last couple of MOT's have advised new fuel and brake pipes. Reckon I should get round to doing it.

Just wondered, has anyone tried braided pipes? If so where from and what size? Would it be a very expensive idea?

Thanks.

Brake System

You can only fit braided 'flexi' pipes to replace the rubber hoses on the system. There are a few places which do solid brake line kits, i believe Crazy Quiff does a kit. but there are loads about either coated steel (like the originals) or copper (which won't rust - they will corrode but will outlast the car - probably!!)

Or buy a roll of copper pipe and make them yourself - cheap, relatively easy but very time consuming.

Fuel System

Few people have fitted flexible braided lines from crazy quiff, they look good and are apparently are easy to fit.

Other wise its as the brake system a roll of copper pipe and make em yourself.

Tim.

Yes, I've fitted crazyquiff's braided fuel lines. Good quality and fit. Use copper for the brakes as said.

Thanks all!!
I did send a mail to CQ but not had proper reply yet as he has been on hols and is catching up.
Will do braided fuel if not too expensive and copper for brakes I reckon.
