fitting Magnex manifold & system ?

hi, is it a major job fitting the manifold, are the nuts usually siezed and rusted etc, do i have to remove my inlet maniold to do it ?

its not a big job.

on the carb engine you have to take of the inlet manifold just get plenty of penetratin oil on em

penetratin oil, is that WD40 or somthing better  :oops:

tis similar to wd40 but wd40 is water based and therefore not that good plus gas is pretty good

Not a big job. Just take inlet manifold off first (5 long bolts) then reach down to get the exhaust manifold.

Dont think the bolts are seized just be careful as the position of them would make it a nightmare if you rounded them off!

Gaskets for the inlet manifold and exhaust gaskets (4x) are available from GSF on 02089173800.

You must have a Magnex system like mine with the mainfold. I've been told that they've stopped making the full systmes with the manifold now?
