exhaust rubbers.

silly question maybe but where can i get hold of some rubbers to hold my exhaust on. i'm 2 down now after them dieing of old age and being replaced temporarily with cable ties. i'm guessing i can get pretty much any but wondering where i can get some cheap.

Where have you tried? Any FLAPS should be able to sell you one. Halfords do (not too great) generic ones if you're stuck.

Powerflex do them but they aint cheap, bout 5 quid a pop i think.

Otherwise just good old fleabay but i seem to shred these on a monthly basis.  :mrgreen:

it's either tierod or chubnuts on fleabay that sells extra strong one's. i have 4 but have not got round to fitting them yet.

Tierod it is, those extra strong one are the ones i kill on a monthly basis.  :wink:

gsf sell the stronger rubbers with a chain in, as do vw

28296B - EXH RUBBER HANGER-REINF - 2.00

or

893 253 147 D - zaust rubber with chain - ?  5.09

Had a full new Bosal gti exhuast fitted at berts couple of month back, due to it being heavy and it is heavy, i decided after buying the crap rubber ones i went for poly yellow, and they are top notch, i doubt i will ever have to buy any rubbers again.
?7 each but worth every penny and peace of mind not having to think about if rubbers are shot

hi guys, need a full set of new rubbers. found these, but not sure they are actually the right shape? will they work on my mk1 caddy?
