Exhaust Issues

Hi All,

I have dropped a 1.8 GU engine (mk2 Driver engine) in my MK1 Cabrio, I dont have any of the original exhaust system but from looking on various sites on the internet it appears that the standard MK1 1.8 DX engine system will fit as this is a single outlet on the manifold, it also appears that the manifold is very similar. The problem i have is i am looking at a system online and dont want to order the wrong one, can anyone shed any light on this???

how old is your cabrio and what engine did it have originally

i had the 1.5 engine before

ok the old exhaust would have bolted right up, but if i read it right you dont have it any more?

what year is your cab

Yeah the old exhaust was rotten anyway, I think i have sourced the correct exhaust strangely enough Klarius still manufacture it!!!
