Exhaust doesn't want to stay on my car!

I've been having various problems with my exhaust sytem lately. Mainly it not wanting to stay attached to my car. I thought it was sorted during the MOT, but came lose pretty soon after. I got down and had a look and it seemed one of the front rubber exhaust rings had come off. I re attached a 34mm one and that came off whilst going down one of my girlfriends country road short cuts. I've now fitted another. The exhaust sags down about two thirds of the way towards the rear of the car. There is a hook attached to the exhaust, where I presume a ring goes, but nothing on the car to attach it to. I also have another one right at the back which holds fine.

I'm running a g60 from a golf rallye. The exhaust is a 2.5 inch Jetex system put in by a previous owner. It looks too big for the car and could really do with replacing, but isn't quite dead yet. Could do with some advice, especially from anyone running a similar setup.

what car is it? could be you have mk1 tintop zaust and you have a later cabby, or vice versa. they differ slightly at the back see
