Electrical Fuel pump removal

Hi

We have had a bit of a bad day today trying to remove the fuel pump on my cabby  :banghead:

Can anybody provide some step-by-step instructions on how to remove the fuel pump  :redfaced:  :D

We managed to drain the fuel tank and removed 1 of the electical wires (couldn't reach the second one?  :dontknow: ) there seemed to be brake cables running underneath the pump, which prevented the pump bracket to drop out.

Is it really this difficult or am I doing something wrong  :banghead:  :dontknow:  :banghead:  :dontknow:

Anywhoooo, instructions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks, Vicky

yeah the handbrake cables do get in the way, unbolt the bracket/basket completely, remove the basket, then you need to tilt the whole lot down at the end with the wires, and try get it past the handbrake cable.

Thats how I got mine out anyway!!
