clip on exhaust 1.5 question.

Simple one, how the hell do you get them apart ? and are they prone to blowing at the sealing joint ?? as i've got a 1.5 with a blow at the front somewhere and i'll be blown ( haha ) if i can find it……

ah we have the same problem mate. my 1.5 is blowing under there too, think its bang on the joint as theres no holes or splits. just not looking forward to getting those C clamps off anyone in south wales have the tool to lend me?

check where the two tubes become one just below the joint as the spot weld can break and cause a blow from there, as to removal use an exhaust clamp to spread the clips out,  picture U part of clamp NUTS then CLAMP END once in position you can unscrew the nuts as though taking them off which will force the end out forcing the clamp open, simple, cheap and it works
