Carb seal kit

hi does anyone know where or if i can get a seal kit for my carb, also how do i find out which carb i have. cheers

Well depending on the carb somewhere like Crazy Quiffs, Fast Road Cars or southern carburetters should be able to supply gasket kit.

Not sure on the carb but if you put up the year and the engine size/code etc I'm sure someone will be able to narrow the search down for you.

H Reg 1990. 1781cc, Engine No. EX061846

I think all the 1.6 - 1.8's came with a Pierburg 2E2 as standard but I could be wrong. Plus it may have been changed for the corresponding weber conversion at some point in its life.

Best wait and see if anyone else chimes in but if its definitely a 2E2 Rubjonnys thread would be of some use to you

Right it looks like it has been changed at some point in the past it is a weber with the numbers 22340 stamped on it.

Still need a seal kit as i bought the standard one
