car wont start help plz

hi can any one help me just done a full resto on my mk1 gti the engine run when i took it out now it will not start think its a fuel problem there is ful getting to the metering head but i popped the injecter and theare doesent seem to be any fuel . its really getting me pissed off now been like this 4 a few week now any help will be good thx all

Have you cleaned the flap and checked its centred?

no i havent but ive trie two different ones still no joy any ideas think i need some one two take a look need two get it on the road

If it gets to the metering head but not the injectors, then its a faulty or maladjusted metering head. If you've tried another, then do you know its a good one?

Fuel lines? Definitely worth sticking a fuel pressure gauge on it and seeing what you get.

seems 2 be plenty of pres whent i took one of the bolts it shot right out

Not the most accurate way to measure it tho…..

Tried the local garages?

cant get it thear mate its in my garge at the moment gattering dust been in theare like that 4 week after all the money i have spent on her

check that the cold start valve is connected and that the plunger in the metering head is moving up and down freely.they have a tendancy to stick wen there old

check all that mate had another go today it seems fuel is getting to the metering head but not the injector any ideas would be help full thx
