Anyone recognise this system?

Hi, havent had the car long, and its a bit noisy. The exhaust was put on by the last owner but there's no reciepts. I remember something about janspeed or jetex but not sure….. :dontknow:

The system has only one box at the rear, and the rest is straight through. I would like to buy a centre pipe with a silencer to quiet things down, anyone any ideas of what make this system might be?

Doesnt really look performance that does it….I would say more janspeed than jetex but could be something else  :dontknow:

iirc the janspeed had an outward rolled lip on the tailpipe. have never seen a jetex with that size tail pipe. tried looking at the silencer to see if it's branded?

where are you ? i have a centre section  spare you can have it if you want to pick it up i'm in derbyshire.

Might be an omp one. they have a std looking pipe on them that is the same size as the originla, but mine came with a centre box whihc looked more like a cherry bomb.   Noisy as well…..

There are 2 OMP systems regularly advertised on ebay. The more expensive one only has the rear box, but is a direct replacement for the standard system.

I have found out it is a Janspeed system, with no centre box! Does anyone know if a standard centre box will fit this - or will i have to go to janspeed….?

Not sure but it may well be a jetex. It looks identical to the one fitted on the g60 conversion i bought last year from the pea shooter alike look of it. There is something that makes you smile when you're playing with 220 horses and your backbox looks like that though. Tends to make you want to laugh at and make an example of the local "biggest backbox you got mate coz it OBVIOUSLY makes me go faster" off the shelf in halfords 300db jubilee clipped onto a 'sports' vectra/calibra fanatic.
