Air flow meter upgrade?

Has anyone any practical experience with going fro 60mm to 80mm?

Advert below and this is what they claim/suggest:

"Porsche 924 CIS 80MM Air Flow Meter, MK1 VW Upgrade

Part Numbers(S):  0 438 120 103, 047 133 535 E

This is the largest intake diameter CIS air flow meter you can get, 80mm!!!  Direct bolt-on upgrade for MK1 Rabbit GTI, Cabriolet, Jetta, Scirocco.  A significant improvement over the small factory 60mm.  Increase in main intake size will maximize the output on tuned motors with common performance modifications such as; cams, big bore throttle body, fuel enrichment kit, etc."

The airflow meter isn't a restriction. So….not really worth it.

16v one is common and a bit bigger than the 8v, but as above it probably wont make any difference
