Aftermarket Fuel Pump?

Hi, does anyone know anything about aftermarket electric fuel pumps to replace my standard mechanical fuel pump in my Cabrio? On the last occassion that it broke down, the RAC man advised that it would be an idea to get one fitted, as the weak arse pump that is currently on there doesn't cut the mustard when I've left the car for a few days.

Anybody know about suppliers/fitting times etc?

Thanks muchly,
Ali

to fit an electric pump you need a pressure regulator, plus you'll have to wire up a k-jet fuel pump relay so it will cut out in a crash for safety.

or, you could just buy a new std mech pump and swap it stragiht over, no fuss at all. tbh no point messing about really is there, when a std pump will work fine for another 20+ years ;)
