4 branch manifold fitting

Am I right in thinking the front engine mount will need to be undone to allow the engine to be tipped forward to aid fitting? I'm going to be swapping gearboxes aoon so is it a job that would be made easier while the gearbox is off?

arb is easy to remove, its only a ferw bolts/nuts no need to take the wishbones off or anything. just be happy its not a mk2 then you would be struggling. with box out tho i recon you could drop it in from above no problem at all

That would be nice, but I still think I'd struggle to thread it over the ARB. But at least the engine will still rock forward easily…

depends on the make of the manifold.

I got mine on without removing anything, however I have an aftermarket ARB.

It went on from under the car….

Projekt Frustration :

White 1991 Clipper. Lowered over polished zender rims, Single 40 dellorto on lynx manifold, kent cam, full stainless 'zorst / manifold, powerflex bushed and braced. Not the fastest car, but sounds super nice!

Still going after 12 years… never said it was a quick fix! Time is not my friend.
