22mm injector inserts??

hi this is my first post on here so go easy on me. i have a mk1 gti 1982 and am currently doing a 2.0l 8v conversion, using a tsr (pack b i think) ported head, only problem is i need new injector inserts, they are 22mm and i can not find them anywhere  anyone know of a place that can supply these?

OK, this might not be what you want to hear, but have you tried the dealer (sometimes refered to as stealer)? Even the aftermarket places I know of that sell them sell factory inserts. They don't cost all that much and they should have then on hand or can get them the next day.

Yes have tryed main dealers, vw garages, even tuning companies such as tsr. all saying they are obsolete and can not get them. tsr have a few but are not selling them as they need them for there engines. the problem is they change size on chassis numbers 22mm - 24mm i can get the 24mm no problemo but 22mm are a different question. getting desperate now as the engine is mounted and all wired up this is the last thing on the list        looking like i am going to have to get them cnc'd up but i do not have any to go by. not good

22mm inserts are all over the place and easy to get. They come in either a one piece air shrouded style (83 model year only really and kind of tan in color), a two piece air shrouded style (brass upper and brown plastic lower) and the EFI injector style (black with green sealing ring). Your 82 head I believe used the 24mm insert for non-shrouded injectors. They were still in the VW inventory last year as I purchased a set, think I gave them away but will check, but it is possible they no longer carry them. Try Techtonics Tuning or Autotech, both in the states.

vw stoped making them end of 2008, i have managed to speak to a garage that had what looks like the only two in the west out the back so will have them and try to make some more on a cnc. vw are sold out completely over here (UK). thanks for trying to help though, very much appreciated.
