Wipers not stopping properly

Hey, when i turn my wipers on they work as normal but when i turn them off, they come too rest about 1/4 of the way up the windscreen!!  The only way to get them to rest down near the scuttle pannel is to "nudge" them down by moving the stalk up slightly until they move then letting it go.

Anyone got any ideas of what could be up??

welcome to the world of the mk1, this one does it, the old one did it, unless anyone cn tell me the solution as well!

its your mechanism the park position has moved usually caused by the grease in the gearbox being contaminated by the copper swarf from the contacts allowing the wiper to move when it shouldnt. either strip gearbox regrease reset, or upgrade to mk2 mech much better

Hmmm,

mine park ok on intermittant but when turning off form continuous (either speed - laugh) they park higher up the screen???? Any ideas??
