wiper motor upgrade

has anybody got advice on the different wire colours when trying to do an upgrade on the windscreen wiper motor? old one has red, blue, brown, green and white. the upgrade motor has brown, green, green/yellow, green/black and black/white????

What is the new motor from??? A Mk2???

If so check out the number codes on the plugs - case of matching these up I think.

Do a search as there has been a number of posts on this before.
