wiper motor - is there any RHD/LHD difference ?

Hi, I bought a Mk3 wiper motor from a UK eBay guy.  When it arrived I found its orientation is 180degree different from my Mk1 motor.  I suppose UK and AUS car drive in same direction so I can't understand why.
I'm sure many people has done this conversion, Am I the only one that has this problem ?  I'll take some pic tomorrow and show you guys.

The mk2 motor is also different to the mk1. It's orientation doesn't matter as long as you can mount it on the bracket.

Have a look at the pictures in this thread.

The top one is original Mk1 motor,  bottom one is Mk2/3 motor.   The screw position will fit but it'll be mounted in opposite direction.  Still confused but I'll try anyway/

Looks identical to the one I have fitted with no problems. You can't fit one of the brackets but is makes no difference.
