The clicking means that the indicator relay is working fine (and this would be true if your left indicator works). Do you get the green light on the dash when you signal right? - Could be dead bulbs (do they work when you use the hazard lights?)
The wiper problem sounds like the relay is missing (postion 10 on the relay board, if it's an '83/'84 car, or position 4 on earlier models) - if it's not gone, you need to check it, and check the stalk-switch too.

The only directly-related part of the steering wheel is a dog (stick-out part) on the back of the steering wheel boss (the centre hub), to cancel the indicators after a turn. Once that's still there on the Momo wheel, it should be fine, and even if it isn't, all that means is that your indicators won't cancel automatically.
The issue sounds like it's unrelated to changing the wheel.

Lem,
try taking all ur fuses out one by one , check them & replace them making sure thaey are all well in…..might be surprised!
As for ur wiper's, take plastic off steering rack & look intoterminal where stalk goes into & u should see 2 little brass terminals, tryputting ur finger on the most obvious one u see as push it forwards to see if it makes a difference. If it does, get hold of a nylon cable tie, cut a piece from it about 2 - 3cm in length & try to insert it between terminal & black clip holding it in place. i super glued it in place & it all works fine now! This is very handy if washer jets are non existent or weak as the black plastic clip keeping it tight seems to melt/wear after a period of time.
