windscreen wash electrical problem

If any one can help?…
My windscreen wipers work fine.  I have tested the pump for the screen wash and works fine, but cannot get the both working together, so I am assuming it is something to do with the connection between the 2.
If anyone can help, or specifically a wiring diagram so I can get it fixed

Wiper wash facilty is switched using the stalks . If the pump runs but the two don't work together it could be the stalks [try a little wd40 or similar in the stalk to clean the contacts] .

thanks, I will give that a go.  I also forgot to mention im not sure it is something to do with the connection from the pump.  I tested the pump by short circuit and worked perfectly but without a wiring diagram got a bit stuck!
