Which wire? please.

Which one of these wires goes to the oil temp sender?


These are the wires going to the clocks on my MK1 Driver.

I'm not sure off hand, but if you have a haynes it will be in there.

Or if you take off the black plastic clip holding the flexible printed circuit board down then you should see what pin does what printed on the circuit board itself.

Nice clear pic …..

blue/black is normally used for the oil pressure warning lamp and oil pressure switch [5th from left on your pic].

MK1 Driver , i didn't know it had an oil temp sender unless it was retro fitted? Please double check before chopping or modifying though .

Yes the oil pressure lamp is pin 9 (blue/black), there is no oil temp gauge.

It's for my 16V conversion. I thought the pressure and temp senders were linked so the pressure reading would of been temperature dependant. But of course I have just realised the oil temp readout would probably have been for the MFA?
