Which indicator switch stalk for an 88 cabby?

Title says it all. Do mk2 ones fit? Or do i need one from a mk1?
I'm Norwegian, so my English isn't the best!

pre-90 mk2 golf fit. post-88 mk2 are chunky so it would look odd unless you got a full set. also mk1 golf and scirocco will fit, rocco again switched to chunky stalks same time mk2 did iirc
